John Boykin - Student Highlight

Senior John Boykin received a 6 Year State Science Day Award for progressing to State Science Day for six consecutive years. John was one of only three students to receive this award this year in the state of Ohio. The award was presented on May 5 at The Ohio State University. John also received the following awards: Edison Center Materials Science and Engineering Award, Governor’s Award for Excellence in Materials Science, Excellence Award for Civil Engineering Projects, and Governor’s Award for Excellence in Environmental Protection Research.

Hugh McMahon - Faculty Highlight

Coach Hugh McMahon has recently been voted the Greater Cleveland Basketball Association Division III Coach of the Year!  In just his first year as head coach of varisty boys basketball team, Coach McMahon led the Firebirds to the state Final Four.  Congratulations to Coach McMahon on a job well done!
